One unique tool for handling performance and identifying the areas for improvement is the joint, two-way performance scorecard. A balanced scorecard is made up of a mixture of both quantitative and qualitative measures, including how the key participants that are involved view the quality of the relationship. Advanced organizations carry out a 360-degree scorecard, where surveys are carried out on strategic suppliers for feedback on their performance, the results of which are translated into the scorecard.
