What is Digital Signal Processing?

Digital Signal Processing is a branch of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering that is concerned with the improvisation and accuracy of digital signals by employing multiple advanced techniques. 

Digital Signal Processing works on real-world signals like voice, audio, video, temperature, pressure, or position that have been digitized and then mathematically manipulate them. 

DSP applications include audio and speech processing, sonar, radar, and other sensor array processing, spectral density estimation, statistical signal processing, digital image processing, data compression, video coding, audio coding, image compression, signal processing for telecommunications, control systems, biomedical engineering, and seismology, among others.
